An item of thanks for our church: - Giving thanks for brilliant transition to a new Leadership Team as 3 long standing members have served their full term and we have just affirmed the appointment of 4 amazing, new leaders.

A prayer item for our church: - Please pray for the bonding of the new team as, during the next few months, we establish the culture and trust we need to make this an effective leadership team.

A thanks item for our local community: - Thanks for the new relationships we are building with local community leaders through our community projects and our Church unity network.

A prayer item for our local community: - Praying for Middlesbrough Council as they set a new agenda for the Social Regeneration in the town. Pray that Jesus' voice is heard and the poor of Middlesbrough are prioritised.

NBA Prayers for 15th April - Owton Manor BC (Hartlepool)

We praise the Lord for a small Alpha Course finishing the just before Easter that have five seekers who at this stage are all engaged and responding positively in the course.

We pray for these precious lives that their hearts and minds will remain open and on a course of faith despite the distractions of the world, the flesh, and the devil, so they continue to come right through into saving faith.

We praise the Lord for our fellowship connections with three other Baptist churches in the town and our working involvement with Churches Together, which includes Foodbank and Debt Counselling, Street Angels and Breakfast Club.

We pray for a working strategy amongst the four Baptist churches where we all have ageing congregations, financial pressures and ministry demands; and that as Churches Together we might effectively live and declare the gospel together across the town.

Minister: Rev Maurice Matthison
